Begin Your RISE Journey.

Our enrollment process looks past the traditional system. We do not require institutional transcripts or formal recommendations. We look for heart posture, a willingness to grow, and a desire to step into your true identity. Admission is based on a personal interview focused on your future, not your past.

What You'll Need

Application Requirements

1

Personal Interview

A conversation focused entirely on your future — not your past. We want to know who you are becoming, not just where you have been.

2

Heart Posture

We look for a genuine willingness to grow, to be challenged, and to step into something greater than yourself. That posture matters more than any transcript.

3

Identity & Purpose

A desire to discover and walk in your true identity. RISE is for those who sense there is more — and are ready to pursue it.

4

No Transcripts Required

Our enrollment process looks past the traditional system. We do not require institutional transcripts or formal academic records for initial consideration.

5

No Formal Recommendations Required

We do not require letters from institutions. If someone in your life wants to speak to your character, they are welcome — but it is never a barrier to entry.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a GPA requirement for admission?

We do not have a minimum GPA requirement. We evaluate the whole applicant — including trajectory, character, and potential — not just past grades. Students who have struggled academically but demonstrate genuine motivation are encouraged to apply.

Can I apply if I am currently homeschooled?

Yes. Homeschooled applicants should submit a portfolio of completed coursework, a learning log or transcript prepared by a parent or supervising educator, and the standard recommendation letters.

Is financial aid available?

RISE offers need-based scholarships and merit awards. Financial aid information is included in the acceptance packet. We are committed to ensuring that cost is not a barrier to enrollment for qualified students.

When do students choose their vocational trade?

Trade selection happens during the admissions process and is confirmed at orientation. Students may indicate a preference on the application. Our counselors work with each student to ensure the best fit.

What is the class size at RISE?

Cohorts are intentionally small — no more than 60 students per year. Academic seminars average 12–15 students. Trade sessions are capped at 10 to ensure hands-on instruction quality.

Is RISE accredited?

RISE is accredited by the regional accreditation body and all vocational programs are aligned with NCCER, ASE, AWS, and other industry certification standards. Graduates receive both a RISE diploma and industry certifications.
